We are proud to be a small, yet vibrant congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in the mountains of western North Carolina.
St. Andrew Lutheran Church was established in 1924 by the Cover family who had moved to Andrews from Browntown, Virginia. The present sanctuary was built in 1928 and included a Moeller pipe organ, which is still used today. A fellowship hall was erected on the church grounds in 2001.
We love visitors. All are welcome to join us! We celebrate Holy Communion weekly with word and song.
Our pastor is the Reverend Horace D. Free. You may reach him here: frhorace@standrewlutheranchurch.com
Join us for worship on Sundays at 11am at 882 Main Street in downtown Andrews, North Carolina.
